THE tDROP is derived from the teardrop form around a central core, which aims to facilitate social interaction between its inhabitants by providing a central meeting space, which reinforces the idea of community. The concept focuses on how accommodation can help personal and social development of its inhabitants.
The playful elements of the movable façade allow the inhabitants complete control over their environment and transforms throughout the day as needs change. Each module is cozy with an air of sophistication. The rooms are zoned for maximizing academic potential and transform to encourage not only study but also exchange of ideas. The communal spaces benefitting each floor extend this idea of interaction even further.
